But i don't know wich one to get

- It has to be compatible with windows

- There must be a built in battery

- max. $20

- I'm buying it from Amazon

Hope you guys can help me out.

There's this. http://theauris.com/collections/freeda

Don't think you'll find much for $20 that's not Chinese bootleg junk.

And you know that bluetooth wont fix that right? If anything makes it worse.

It actualy does fix it. It's a hardware problem with the 3.5mm jack. I already tried my bleutooth dock and it works without any problems. My question is if anyone knows a good portable receiver...

I bought one of the generic China brand for less than $10. First I plugged my earpods in, it sounded like shit. Then I realized, it only output line level signal. So if I plug it to a powered speaker set, or to a headphone amp, it's quite good. Nothing special, but enjoyable.

My point is, make sure the receiver you're going to buy can drive IEMs or headphones properly, if you're not planning on using a separate headphone amp in between.

Those things are indeed meant to supply amps (high input impedance). Because the output device is part of the output filter plugging in a headphone (lower impedance) can shift the response and cause a loss of bass.

Some models, like the Sony one(s) are pictured plugged to IEMs. I'm guessing it got integrated amp inside, something the size of E6's circuit, maybe.
