soundbar/speakers for tv.

HeyKitty

Philips 40PFL4908/F7. This is the TV, and currently just using the built in speakers, what would I need to do to get better sound out of it? preferably keeping it under $150.

THIS IS MY SUPER TEENY TINY SIGNATURE!

Ain't it just the cutest little signature.

Some would argue it is the cutest little signature ever.

I don't know what the price is but the Sony HT CT-660 is good.

EDIT: it's like $300. I recommend the Sony HT CT-260H. It is almost $40 over budget though.

Go for the monoprice 5.1 speakers set (on sale for $80 right now)

http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=109&cp_id=10906&cs_id=1090601&p_id=8247&seq=1&format=2

And find a cheap used receiver on Kijiji, Ebay, Or craigslist

You'd get much better sound quality for the price over a big brand HTIB (home theater in a box),

much more control over your settings, and overall better value for your money.

This would get you closest to home theater quality sound for around $200

If you aren't picky at all and don't care about good quality sound or what not (just want it to

sound "bigger"), then get yourself a used HTIB system for $100

Hope This Helps
