Looking for a MX brown keyboard.

werto165

What keyboard should I get, I've been looking around for a while, it seems like my best options are:

Logitech G710+: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00CJAF3OC/ref=s9_simh_gw_p147_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=0SAE66JQH6ZKDTEFBTRJ&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=455344027&pf_rd_i=468294

Corsair K70: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-Vengeance-Performance-Mechanical-Keyboard/dp/B00JIVZUDY/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1418951630&sr=1-1&keywords=k70+brown+switches#Ask

Just wondering what other options there are out there, keep in mind that I'm only looking at keyboards with volume wheels and dedicated media controls. Any help with deciding on what to get will be most appreciated. :P

The G710+ has some issues with the keycaps breaking still.

ID go with the K70.

K70 of the two. The G710+ keycap issues are only for those who hit the keys too hard. If you need more force, maybe look into something with MX Clears.

Also, @werto165, don't forget to follow your own topic :D

Got the G710+ myself and I'm quite happy with it, however, the K70 is also a good keyboard. Both have their pro's and cons so yeah..

Major con of the G710+ the keycaps might be a bit 'loose' used with the o-rings (I removed my o-rings and it does feel better then). K70 had the problem of dying leds due to the mounting of the leds, but I heard this has been fixed for the biggest part on their red illuminated keyboard.

I've tried both of my brother's keyboards. Which are the G710+, and the K95 RGB with MX Brown's.

And somehow, they both feel so different to type on than my own Ducky's.

With the Logitech it's easy to tell why, since it uses its semi-custom keycaps (thinner than your average key cap), along with o-rings. But I have no idea why his K96 felt to different. I am thinking that it has something to do with how the switch is PCB-mounted, and not plate-mounted.

Both of these keyboard just felt... off... to me. Though, I have no idea if the original K70 has the same issues (for me) as the K95 RGB has.
