Headphones for hearing impaired

Narddog124

Hello,

I have severe hearing loss in my right ear, and was just wondering if there are any one-sided (left-sided) headphones, like where all of the sound comes out of the left side. Does such a product even exist?

I have been curious about this for a while. I haven't come across any good articles on what type of sound replication is good for specific hearing impairment. Which i suppose would vary enormously from person to person.

I suppose the old balance setting would work for you :)

Oh and welcome to the forums!

I recommend doing this

You modify the Balance of the audio

And then make sure that you get open-style headphones so that the sound is as full as possible. Make sure it has velour earpads to keep as much of the sound in and comfy as possible.

I suggest looking into some Sennheiser HD500s or the like. Superlux also makes the 681s which are open style and come with replacement velour cups.
