Decent speakers for PC

Hello,

Lately I have been looking for PC speakers since I am upgrading my PC to a 4K beast. I saw those ones: M-Audio AV40. Are they OK?

 

Suggest me speakers for normal use (movies, music)...with good sound quality and bass.

 

I am using HyperX Cloud Gaming headset for my games.

Edifier M3250 are not bad for the money, also comes with remote.

The M-Audio ones are great. They just look super ugly to me. 

My personal rig - 4790k 4.8Ghz, Asus Z97 Pro (wi-fi ac), Corsair Dominator Plat 4x8GB, SLI GTX 1080 TI FE, Samsung 850 Evo 1TB, Crucial MX100 512GB, EVGA G3 1000W, and cooled by a hardline liquid cooling loop.

Er no. They're ugly. And they shouldn't. Amps don't usually kick out that much heat.

True, but I edited the post, to make clear that they're not loud enough for a LARGE living room (if you need the floor and walls to shake)

If, on the other hand, you sit 3.5 ft or closer to your TV, they WILL be loud enough. I have never felt them being too quiet, and I watch all my movies with them. Loud too.
