280mm Rad to 240mm Rad Adapter

Hey!

I know, this might not be the right subforum. Feel free to move!

So I want to mount the Raijintek Triton I recently bought in the front of my R4.

Problem:

  • You can't mount a 240mm radiator in the front of the R4 by default because the spacing on the 120mm fan mounts is incorrect. I could just drill a few holes but I don't want to do that because:
  • I already have to 140mm fans I want to keep and it's nice because they move more air.

I know that 140mm to 120mm adapters exist but the problem with those is that the spacing on the fans won't be right if I use two. And I can't just 3d-print my own adapter.

So my question is:

Is there a 280mm to 240mm adapter or are there 140mm to 120mm with the right spacing?

Thanks in advance!

You can get something like this: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/20817/ex-rad-615/Phobya_Dual_280_Radiator_Grill_-_Bricky_-_White_Powder_Coat.html?tl=g30c637s2286

It's a Phobya radiator grill, for 280mm rads; but it also has 240mm holes. You can use the 240mm holes for the case (please be sure to not create a puncture in the rad when you screw it; get the proper length screws), and the 280mm holes for the rad/fans.

great idea! it doesnt look like it would allow for much air flow but i am going to look into this.

thanks!

i know how to google.

but that is not what i was looking for.

these dont work, the spacing is incorrect.
