Hard drive not showing on My Computer

windows button> right click my computer> manage> disk management > Find drive> right click> new simple volume> follow on screen prompts

Guys i really need your help, i just got this computer and had a new hard drive installed, the problem is i cant see it on the "My computer". When i open up thi bios thing, the new hard drive is seen, so it means it was installed properly but just cant see it on the "My computer".

Open Administrative tools, either type it in the search bar or find it in control panel, computer management go down the list on the side until you find disk management and format the drive using NTFS, hope this helps

also make sure both power and data are plugged in all the way, but you probably already have that part down
