Wide angle lens

KirbyTech

I am looking for a wide angle lens (14-24mm) that is able to do 2.8  I have a canon so canon works best unless it is a fully manual lens in which case even better. I don't exactly have a budget just looking to see whats out there and what others have found to be good. No L series for me haha

What Canon DSLR are you using? Full frame or crop?

Most third party lens manufacturers don't have as good image quality except for a few Sigma lenses, and they cost only a few hundred off Canon ones.

I was getting at Nikkon maybe, or Tokina as I have heard good things about them.

Eh, Nikkor glass is around the same price as Canon's glass and Tokina is just meh.

Here's the Canon 10-18mm f4.5-5.6 STM @ 10mm.

If you do happen to need a ultra wide angle lens, I would go for the 10-18mm. It is at a good price point and it is a very sharp lens.

Another lens I can recommend is the Tokina 11-16mm! It is a fantastic lens but it is the price of a 10-22mm...

If your budget can stretch and you want the best glass. Get yourself a 17-40mm to take the place of your 18-55mm. Its a very good lens and the optics are brilliant.
