so basically I just have to backup and then restore on the new machine? SOUNDS FUN.

Also with the new mobs do I just install its stuff, or do I have to find and remove the old motherboards crap

Hey Kevinclon,

It is highly likely that you will get corrupted data or even lose everything on the RAID array if you move it from one motherboard to another.
I would also suggest backing up all your data and restoring it once you move the whole RAID.
Have in mind that a fresh install of your OS is always recommended as you get rid of unused programs and avoid transferring any corrupted data or potential viruses.
