£600 Gaming/ Editing build

Hello everyone,

My laptop is starting to get slower and slower and I need to make videos on youtube for my audience but I have a small budget of £600. I would like to record games on that pc in 720p or even 1080p, also i need to edit those videos so yeah.

I would like to have an i5 but with my money situation I don't mind going with an i3.

I second the shit out of this.

Would 1TB not be more practical as unless you record a lot of content and then KEEP IT, it does me fine.

If he needs more he can buy another one later.

I changed it slightly to 1tb and a cheap 320gb 2.5" drive just for recording to

Well the top one with windows would be about £630 if you can afford it that would be the best option

You can always remove the second drive to bring the cost down, or get less storage, I would advise using as second hard drive for best results when recording

You could also swap out the 970 for an R9 280x or R9 290 which might be cheaper too

Hope that helps

Here is an AMD build. If you know how to overclock, it would help a lot but then again it's not hard to learn.

Update: Also this build will be much better if you want to live stream and will render videos faster, especially if you overclock.

You would need to go to the manufacturers website, find the motherboard and then get the driver and put it on a memory stick.
