BLU just released a 7" Android phone...

There's a point where phone manufacturers start overcompensating, and this is one of those times. Here it is, the phone that everybody and their mother never wanted - the BLU Studio 7.0.

(Seriously, what the hell.)

BLU is stretching their e-peen to a full 7" this time around, and this time it doesn't look pretty. Let's just get this over with...

It has a 7" 600x1024 display, runs on some dual-core processor running at 1.3GHz (more than likely MediaTek), 8GB of storage with microSD expansion up to 64GB, 1GB of RAM, a 5MP main camera and a 2MP front-facing camera, and a 3,000mAh battery. Oh, and it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.

Additional specs can be found here: http://www.gsmarena.com/blu_studio_7_0-6838.php

The BLU Studio 7.0 is only $150 on Amazon, which is a......fair price for this, I guess. However, it only runs on GSM carriers, such as T-Mobile and AT&T.

Here's the Amazon link: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PKM1QBA?tag=at88-20

Additionally, here are some links to what I think are better smartphones:

Sigh, they finally release a 7 inch phone and it has terrible specs :( If it had good specs I would buy it in a heartbeat

No, just no. They really need to call this a tablet with calling capabilities, not a phone. Why would anyone buy this as their cellphone? It's so dumb!

Must have pulled the article within minutes of me clicking on it...

Here's the full story in image form. (Still had it pulled up, so ya.)

I will find another source, although the Amazon link in my OP should be sufficient for now.

Ill go keep working on my Samsung Note 4 review in that case. This is just ridiculous

My dad has a 7 inch tablet... the idea of using it as a phone is just crazy.

Imagine girls trying to fit it in their "pockets" xD

Ridiculous, why can't there be a size limit on 5.2" screens... We don't want the phones larger or thinner, We want proper battery and specs.

Ain't going to happen. A couple of my friends that are Apple diehards(not anything wrong with that) bought the smaller iPhone 6 so they could actually put the phone in their pocket, otherwise they would have to stay with their 4s/5s because the bigger iPhone 6 wouldn't work with their carrying situation. I mean, I guess they could put it in their purses, but they don't carry purses every time they are out and about.

I'd love to see a 6" and a 4.7" line up from Samsung, HTC, and other phone manufacturers, so the people who want big phones can have them while the others that can only have small phones can still get the newest thing.

I could never imagine using my nexus 7 as a phone, Barely even fits in my jeans pocket. I can't imagine using a 7inch phone.

I would never use a phone that is 7 inches.

Don't ask why an episode of iCarly is the first thing that came to mind.

The Asus fonepad series has up to 8 inch tablets with earpieces also Samsung offers in all of their tablets with 3G an earpiece so it is not anything new, on both of those products you get much better specs. Having used an iPad mini which is larger than the usual small tablet I would totally have one I have relatively large hands and I think having a tablet/phone in one is better than having 2 devices. Of course I wouldn't talk with it in the street I would use some kind of wireless earpiece.

Because there are people like me who love big phones. The Moto X is as small as I'll go, whereas the Nexus 6 is as big as I'll go.
