Able to get the HP Stream 7 for 85 dollars and free shipping. Seriously considering it. Anyone around here have on and want to weigh in on pros/cons?

I was considering the Stream 7 as well, then I realized it only has 1GB RAM. That's barely enough for Windows XP.

1 gb with Windows 8.1 and Atom? You get what you paid for I guess and if by light work you mean loading text-based websites without heavy flash or media content it might be okay.

Yeah saw that too but found this for 50 dollars more and bought it. It has 2 gb of ram :D

Dat 1066MHz tho.

I'm not fond of 1280x800 on any screen smaller than 4.5". For $29 more than the VivoTab ($79 more than the MSRP of the Stream 7), the Asus MeMO Pad 7 me576c has 2GB of 1600MHz RAM, a 1920x1200 screen and an Atom. It runs Android though.

Some people do definitely prefer full Windows over android tho, I love the idea of having a tablet but being able to do things like root phones if I needed to.
