Posted December 17, 2014 Author We dont have a CPU right now, were just trying to build a simple system for my friends brother to get into PC gaming and are basically reusing our old 660ti and mobo.Im mostly curious whats out there around 100-150$, but if theres nothing worth mentioning then that would be good to know too! I know AMD has a hell of a lot of stuff around this price, but since we've already got the mobo im looking at Intel. And we're in the US, but not near a microcenter. Posted December 17, 2014 you would want to get an i5.i recommend ebay too. look for i5 3330,3450,3470... and for the bottleneck part don`t even think about it. it won`t bottleneck not even a gtx 980 so yeah Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
