Best deals you got on parts?

Guest

I have a friend who didn't want to spend more than 300 on a pc, well I bought a case, FX 8320, SSD, 4GB ram, and he got free from me an old GTX 460 and a 500 watt PSU, saving tons of money.

He now can play LoL at 60 fps consistently easily.

It was the best deal I saw anybody have for a pc, ever, but also lucky because of my generosity.

Original Titan, he was selling his parts in his old rig.

Now he has a X99 build with 3 GTX 980s in SLI.

Got a 3570k in Jan' 2013 for $169.99 from Microcenter (normally $189.99, still cheap as hell).

Got my H60 for $30, which was good because my other system needed my Hyper 212+ badly (was getting to 50c+ with stock cooler at full load, now it only gets to like 24c lol).

RIP in pepperonis m8s

All my stuff was purchased "open box". As in I opened the box to see things physically while my friend who works at the store made excuses for me. I honestly think I saved a good 300 bucks at least that way.
