LTT Watercooling Club

clarkmcc

Purpose:

I want this thread to exist for 2 purposes. The first purpose is so that we can all enjoy the sheer beauty and power of water cooling. The second purpose is so that people who have never used water can come here for inspiration to make the switch and for advice and ideas on what kind of parts and setups they want for themselves. smile.gif

To join this club simply post pics of your COMPLETE rig in THIS THREAD and (if possible) a link to your build log and I will add you to the list. The rules are not strict, ANY form of liquid cooling is good; that includes users of products like the Corsair H50. Feel free to post multiple builds and have multiple posts, I will add them next to your original post in the list. Even builds you no longer have are acceptable, just so long as they were built by you. wink.gif
Dont double post and keep quoted pics (except one) spoilered, this keeps this thread tidy.

It's an H60. Looks much much better in person, but you know how that goes. My blue cathodes broke (my fault), will update in a few days once the new ones arrive. (sorry about noisy pictures, there's barely any light in here, my 1020 is doing the best it can)

Just curious, why is this thread "Courtesy of B NEGATIVE" when it is your own thread that you started here on LTT? OCN is not in association with LTT.

I apologize if I sound kind of blunt, but it sounds like you asked B NEGATIVE for permission to post this thread on here.

Thanks :) yeah I had to put it on the back burner for a little while, so my wife and I could attack her build that she has been wanting for ages now lol, but after we are finished with her build, I'm coming back to finish that build :D.

I seen your RED build, love the RED logo on the front of your case, it looks sick bro.

If people want to post pictures of their rigs they can post here: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/296-show-off-your-custom-water-cooling-rigs/

If people want to ask short questions they can post in the WC101 sticky.

If people want to start discussions they can start a thread.

I have no idea why there is a need for a "watercooling club". This format may work on OCN, but there just doesn't seem a need for it on LTT.

Feel free to PM for any water-cooling questions. Check out my profile for more ways to contact me.

Add me to your circles on Google+ here or you can follow me on twitter @deadfire19.

Thanks for the input. I really like the idea that I'm starting a watercooling project and I can just browse through everyone else projects for ideas.

I don't normally post pictures of my build because it's just a simple rig and nothing fancy, but I figured I could share a pic.

The GPU is currently running on air, I never got around to putting the waterblock back on it.

I did link a thread created to post completed watercooled builds in my post. It was created on Day 0 of the forum. It isn't used much as the build log section is far better for posting your builds as you can actually show your process, but is still one of the most viewed threads in the WC section.

@clarkmcc

you can have your thread, but as listed before, these items are already in places

that are already established.

edited the OP for policy reasons. as to questions, we do not point the community

to "use search" to ask their questions. if we have members creating accounts,

brave enough to create a thread, we as the Linus Tech Tips forums community

should be able to answer their created thread or comment with no elitist prejudices,

but a chance to help each other out. if there is a question asked 100 times, hopefully

the community will answer all 100 of them, if those that do not want to answer will

pass on answering it (lack-o-troll) and move to something they can help with.

Pump and res are in the back of the case!! Res is actually screwed in, sitting in the hard drive. It's actually like the exact size of a HDD so it fit perfectly!!!
