North Korea has played a bit too rough with the US, US Gov to respond

Today the United States said a ctber attack on Sony Pictures was a 'Serious national security'. Obama administration was considering a proportional response, but the white house stopped short of blaming NKorea.

 

 

White House spokesman Josh Earnest said he was not in a position to say that North Korea was responsible, but the investigation was "progressing." He said the attack was an example of "destructive activity with malicious intent that was initiated by a sophisticated actor."

 

Earnest said U.S. national security leaders "would be mindful of the fact that we need a proportional response." They were also aware that people carrying out such attacks are "often seeking to provoke a response," he said.

 

Hackers who said they were incensed by a film on the fictional assassination of North Korea's leader attacked Sony Corp last month, leaking documents that drew global headlines and distributing unreleased films on the Internet.

yesterday FBI investigators have confirmed that the hackers that attacked Sony, GoP did so on behalf of North Korean government.

 

There's a announcement scheduled for tomorrow by the US government.

wow. I hear people on the radio speaking of attacks againts civilians where the premiere was supposed to happen. they actually told people to get away. but they just interpret it as : they are attacking civilians !

i still cant believe sony caved and are not releasing the movie. now they have sony by the ballz. 

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

So can the US Gov tell Sony its okay to release the Interview on Christmas day again and can Obama tell North Korea to stop their shit otherwise they'll get another flyby by one of the most deadly machines of war that the world has ever seen?

One of these is scary enough. Would they like the entire fleet of them just casually strolling above their capital? Cause thats what you get for issuing terrorist threats against a US company of this calibre and to this degree. 

 

Good job North Korea. You managed to piss off a lot of people and get the US Gov involved (lets ignore how bad Sony is at securing things for a moment) and most importantly you threatened the release of a James - Seth masterpiece.

I think you're failing to see that Sony has no other choice if all the major theatres refuse to screen the film.

A yes, the B2 stealth bomber, I wasnt 100% sure of the name. Yeah, its deadly as balls because it wont show up on radar... Or anything for that matter, This is truly one death machine of war, Thanks America.

Sony doesn't want blood on their hands since their situation is bad enough. To top it off, theaters refuse to show it. I'm not sure how this idea got green lighted anyway.

It truly is a terrifying piece of machinery built for war. Heck, not even war. Its unfair if you have B2s. You can't detect them, they carry nuclear and conventional cruise missile loads, and they can be used to "buzz the tower" of the opposing country and the reason they work so well for intimidation is that they are a reminder that you are not safe. 

See, carrier strike groups are an extension of sheer power. Dick measuring at its finest. But the B2? Its a simple message. Fuck with us and we can send you back into the stone age within 6 hours, and you'd never see the plane or the missiles coming. We can end you with a single plane carrying a single missile.  Thats what the B2 is. 

If a carrier strike group is the kick to the balls, the B2 is the slicing of the jugular. 

 

As hilarious as this is, Sony is about as American as I am.

 

Sony Pictures is very American. Sony proper might be Japanese, Sony Pictures however has a lot of autonomy in how they operate in the US. Plus, these threats were made against US companies on US soil and involved the FBI, CIA and god knows what other counter intelligence agency that the DoJ would use when terrorist threats of this level are involved. Now we know its North Korea, which is a national security issue that involves the White House and the President.

I don't think even China will defend NK for shit like this.

 

Wouldn't really be much of a war since NK really has nothing comparable to any super power, besides say a few nuclear weapons.
