What projects have you done and would like to share?

Junpaku

I find it fun to learn video editing by watching trailers, movies, tutorials and reading literature. Now I want to see the projects of the LTT video editing community. I'm really into learning video editing now since I'm on winter break from school.

Nice.

Check my sig... Im also working on  a BF4 cinematic thing that... I don't really like they way it looks but... Eh, ill ship it

Care to just post the link to your video/channel?

A super old review I did of the Titanfall Beta:

I have more recent things that are... decent, however they don't actually have much editing. Mostly just audio magic and syncing.

Cool review. Do you still play Titanfall?

[i hope this doesn't go against CoC, I'm not trying to advertise, just posting what I've done]

You can go to my Vimeo page (link is in my profile) for more, but this is the most recent music video I've done. I shot and edited this for my friends' band this past summer. It's pretty trippy, but that was the idea with the vibe of the song.

If you're looking for other sources of inspiration, just watch some classic movies. 'His Girl Friday' is still on Netflix, and I believe is leaving soon. It is a model of classical Hollywood continuity editing. For more 'deep thinking' stuff, check out anything from the Soviet montage directors Dziga Vertov ('Man With A Movie Camera') or Sergei Eisenstein ('Strike,' 'Battleship Potemkin'). They were basically figuring out the juxtaposition of images can create new correlations, meanings or significance to a story; or more simply put, exploring the editing form in itself.

i use to produce quiet alot of CGI junk, 3d things and effects in software like after effects and cinema 4d at high school, deleted the youtube video's sadly.

IIRC i have a model of the earth with moon somewhere around with a quite realistc feel to it.

something like the image below but then with a less visiable athmosphere(blue glow)

I am just making some short clips and upload them to YouTube so that some people can watch them instead of just keeping them on my HDD where they would start to rot.

If video editing is what you're after then...

I've got more on my channel.

Haven't done anything in 2 years though :l. I've learned After Effects in the meanwhile ( I used to only use Sony Vegas ), but I don't like it too much. Vegas ftw.

On the other hand, I started doing 3D modelling and rendering.

There's some of the stuff I did in here

https://www.behance.net/pintoferreira

Most of it is old stuff but there is a Dr Who shot I composited in there. Will update it and create a showreel in the very near future :) but its mainly compositing for visual effects stuff.

Yey more works! Thanks for sharing everyone.

@Nineshadow

Ooo cool! I'm pretty amateurish when it comes to editing still. I'm trying to learn Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
Here's the last one I did playing around with Vegas Pro and motion interpolation for a few days (Use chrome for 720p 60FPS): http://youtu.be/kha_sMI3C6A?list=UUvR1pGfykq_dJEle_NBjSfA

I will definitely check some classic movies such as the one you mentioned.
