Windows 10 on a new PC?

R_Golden
Go to solution Solved by CoolaxGaming,

Alright thanks for the info, I'm gonna go with win 10 I think

Good, if I see any bugs I will tell you!

I would rather not take $100 out of the budget for my gpu and was thinking about just using the Windows 10 technical preview as my OS. My question is how long does it last before I need to buy the full version and for my main pc is this ok, or is it buggy?

Its pretty good right now as I'm running it on my system until X-Mas, just it has little bugs that really get in the way of doing things like my mouse becoming unresponsive to clicks.

Yep, quite buggy, you could probably get away with using it, just be sure to keep all essential data backed up.

A GTX 970, I'm already cutting it really close so if I bought an OS I would have to get a 760. (I don't want an AMD GPU Nvidia has features I want)

Are you using it as a primary OS or dual?

Erm this may sound crazy but maybe you could use Linux Ubuntu depending on what games you play. Thanks to the Steam OS a lot more stuff is coming out for linux.

I really like Linux but it's too limiting for me as my main PC OS :(
