Assassin's Creed Unity 6.7 GB Patch 4 to fix framerate issues (40 GB on Xbox1)

Here are the details of Patch 4. This Patch is rolling out to PS4 now, and will be available for Xbox One players later today (December 16). PC players can expect the patch later this week.

The system saying 40GB is a massive error. Usually it involves redownloading the whole game on top of the patch. A simple turn off/turn on fixes that. And you know how I know thats what happened? Because this has happened before, and reddit currently isn't breaking apart with "DAE UBISHIT CANT MAKE A PATCH?!"

Lazy devs. Crysis 2 is like 7.5Gb and ACU just re-uses the same 3 models for every building

Your comment is disrespectful and offensive thinking you pretty much know everything , i don't own a Console , the Source came from my friends online who have Xbox 1 and Kotaku who tried to install the Patch

Usually patches replace some files. So the 7 GB will replace like almost a number of files. So the only problem would be downloading 7 GB which is a bit annoying for low speed users as UPlay downloads can't be paused.

Wrong, Ubisoft have confirmed that while the patch weighs in at around 6GB the Xbox One size of 40GB is legitimate. There working with MS to reduce the size down to what it should be but for now XBone users are stuck with a 40GB patch. They did say if you have the game on disc then do an uninstall, relaunch the game and the patch will be only 6GB instead of 40GB but for those who bought it from XBLM its either 40GB or wait.
