Triple Surround Setup Questions

Jos0109

I want to get a triple surround setup but I don't know which monitors to buy because some things aren't 100% clear to me.

Do you really need 1/2 ms to play a game like cod aw good? I mean is there really a difference between 1/2 ms and 5/8 ms respond time?

Are the vieuwing angles of tn pannel monitors really so bad that in a triple setup the colors of left and the right monitor would look washed out? So do you really need something like ips pannels?

Could you help me find a good monitor, please? Only suggest 25/26 inch monitors this bezels please and I have a budget of €250. (I'm from The Netherlands if that helps you in any way.) I alrdy found 2 monitors that got my attention.

(Btw the monitor that I will choose eventually depends on the answers you give above.)

I have one of the Dell u2414h's and plan on getting another 2 for surround gaming. The bezel is very thin, only slightly wider than the width of the mouse cursor in fact! Colours are great, as are viewing angles, and there's no noticeable ghosting.

Now, depending on how much you've looked into it, you may or may not be aware that surround gaming is actually pretty bad for stuff like BF4 and COD; the image on the side monitors is stretched slightly, throwing off your perception of how far away enemies are.

For stuff like RPGs and racing games however, it's great.

You don't need 1/2ms to play games well. That's usually for the person who wants the best competitive edge in games. And if you're playing casually and have never used a 1ms response monitor, you'll most likely not feel any input delay or ghosting. Get thin bezels too.

What do they know of England, who only England know?
