Enthernet not working on HP Pro 3400 (MT)

So I had to put a new hard drive in my HP Pro 3400, and when I entered windows Ethernet wasn't working, so I went to HP's website and download all the drivers and tried each one (Mind you I did try one, restart, if it didn't work, delete and redo) And it still isn't working. Can anyone help as this is useless now untel I get internet.

Need more info...

 

What version of windows now?  what was previous version?

does wifi work?

Can you use original driver disks to install drivers?

is old hard drive available to use?  if so, you can use something like:  http://sourceforge.net/projects/drvback/  (driver backup) to a usb thumb drive, hook back up new drive, then install driverbackup & restore drivers from thumb drive.

That particular PC has many variants on hp's website, be sure to enter the exact serial to get the correct drivers installed.
