Good gaming headset for $100

Hello everyone

im looking for an upgrade in headset. I currently have a cheap pair that are not very good sounding and extremly uncomfortable. I would like a headset for around $100 dollars with a decent mic because i need a good mic for gaming. Really just mainly looking for a good comfortable headset. Any of you more experienced guys recomend a pair.

thanks

HyperX Cloud

I have them and they are amazing.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

The HyperX Clouds are okay but you should know that the mic on it is pretty bad.  I bought one for my sister to use when we play coop and it was very annoying to listen to.  The audio is low and has static.  In order to not sound quiet you need to turn up the mic gain which makes the mic sound even worse.  I do not believe it is a problem with the PC either as I have tried this with my rig and my sister's rig.  I also have a friend who owns this headset and his voice sounds pretty bad too.

It picks up breathing more than other mics do and I've also had the PC audio bleed into the mic when the headset wasn't even loud.

Ended up returning it.

It should be fine if you are using push to talk, but if you are using Skype you might look for something else.

Eww at all the hyperx clouds.

Get the H2100 if you want wireless or H1500 is you want wired. Wireless has a slight premium on the price.

Get sennheiser 518s and a zalman mic, the audio will be better and have a much better soundstage, it will be more comfortable, and the mic will be around as good.

They do when the OP asked for a gaming headset.

If the OP asked for a sports car would you recommend a Hyundai coupe?   You see, the OP also asked for good, and the reality is that "good" and "gaming headsets" don't exactly go together unless you want to spend a proverbial arse ton. (and even then only a handful of products are suitable).

Sennheiser PC363D

One doesn't recommend that either...A 380 pro with a modmic is the same thing and it costs $100 less.

Stay away from razer. Sennheiser HD518 and a zalman clip on or the Hyperx clouds are your best choices.
