100$ IEMs?

Lawkodi

I have 100$ to spend on a pair of In ear headphones. I have looked around and I really like the Shure se215s and the Sennheiser Momentum in ears. Which ones do you guys have to recommend? I can't choose right now... it's too hard. I have heard that the Shures are really good but also that the connector breaks and I really don't want to break them..... Help?

As well as Linus's comparison I'd watch the comparison video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRfcuSjurvo) HardwareCanucks made if you haven't already, as he talks more about the relative sound signature of the two - which may help you decide which one you'd prefer.

Personally I prefer the fit of over the ear IEMs found on the Shure or my Sennhesier IE80 IEM's.

I feel the same. I really like the fit of the Shures but the ear piece and the connector have been known to break so it makes me iffy with them. A lot of people like the momentums so that's why i can't choose.... so hard.....

I'm just gonna drop the Yamaha EPH-100 here, pretty wide soundstage, smooth treble, nice bass, mids are a BIT recessed (yeah the typical slight V-shape in frequency response xD)....but pretty good for AROUND 100$ (or € in my case)

Can't compare to Shure/Sennheiser because I have never listened to any of those two before :(

The cable on the Shure's make the too unwieldy for everyday use in my opinion. It's nice and durable for it's intended purpose - live performances - but not so durable for repeated bending as would happen in a pant pocket.
