Windows RT or Android Kit Kat

Gix7Fifty

Currently shopping for a tablet, considering the Nokia Lumia 2520 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S. What are the pro's and con's

Forgive me El Guapo. I know that I, Jefe, do not have your superior intellect and education...

Well a full Windows version (non-RT) would be better for productivity, but Android will be better for average use/multimedia. Avoid RT though.

Asrock 890GX Extreme 3 - AMD Phenom II X4 955 @3.50GHz - Arctic Cooling Freezer XTREME Rev.2 - 4GB Kingston HyperX - AMD Radeon HD7850 - Kingston V300 240GB - Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB - Chieftec APS-750 - Cooler Master HAF912 PLUS

Yea if given that choice I'd be with iOS or just using an old stone tablet.

I just got a 10.1" Android Kit Kat Tablet and the experience (software wise) is awful. That's personal preference though, and is probably the better option. It's certainly less limited the WinRT.

Windows RT would be better UI wise, but the limitations on RT are just too severe. (Installing things such as codecs can be a PITA).

Full windows 8 would be a way to go, if you could find a tablet in your price range that runs it.

I would personally avoid any tablet(android included) unless it runs full Windows 8 like the HP Stream 7. Of course there is the obvious limitation of the Stream with only a 1 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage but for $99 you get a lot.In the higher price ranges there is the Dell Venue 8 pro and the Asus transformer T100 and the Acer Switch 10. The last of which I do own and will say I am quite fond of it. However I am not into social media and I barely play any games on my phone, Nexus 5, and I do on occasion play asphalt 8 on the Switch but I still mainly use it for office.
