Question About Render Times Using Sony Vegas Pro 10 (i5 4690k vs i7 4770k)

Just wondering if I will notice a dramatic difference in render times between these two processors using Sony Vegas Pro 10. Will the i7 benefit from Sony Vegas because this video shows vegas being really slow and other editing software working incredible, did he have terrible settings or what? Sony Vegas is the only software I own and I'm not planning on getting a different program to edit in, so if you guys can please help me out before cyber monday please.

P.S sorry if this is in the wrong section in the forums or has already been answered

Then... use that and they'll perform equally.

Thanks! I just got home from work sorry for the late response.

I have read, that quicksync lowers the quality of the video?!

If you plan to render a lot, get the i7 for sure, maybe the 2011-e3 plattform, get the cheapest 8 core=16threads.

But, ram is really, really, really, really, expensive. You can count add double the price of ddr3

yeah get the i7 definitely.

4790K will be a good buy.

Offcourse if you render allot a 5820k will be better, But X99 comes with a premium price.
