got any links or anything? IDK what powerline is (well other the power lines obvs, is that what the method is called?)

So where my modem/router/whatever is, there is no coax output. There is one however in my room, so I won't be able to go through the coax like I had planned.

Is there some sort of device that would allow me to do it wirelessly, but only connect to my pc? Like a direct connection except without wires.

If not is there some way to go through the telephone lines without being interrupted by phones calls?

 

Basically is there any way to get net to my room, preferably wired, at a decent speed. I have a telephone jack but that's about it. If there's no other option is there a direct connect wireless thing like stated above. Like something you plug into your modem/router and plug the other end into your pc?

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

Powerline? Unless I read your post wrong, why don't you just put the modem in your room?

Parents want it in the family room because that's where the wire to their PC is run.

Okay, then yeah use power line, or can can run an Ethernet cable to your room.

Yeah, it'll be a while, but It'll be nice to be able to talk to people on CSGO or Teamspeak without them to hear the TV or something in the background (My pc is in the kitchen ATM).
