What FPS would I get?

How many fps on ultra would this pc run bf4 on?
nVidia GeForce GTX970 4GB
Intel Core i5 4690K 3.9GHz turbo quad core
8GB RAM
Windows 8.1

I wont need to list anymore since these are the main components that judge the FPS.

Please respond with the FPS I would approximately get for the games Battlefield 4 and Far Cry 4 at medium-high settings.

For Battlefield 4 please give me a low when "shit hits the fan" on conquest large.

All of the fps. Mostly 60 of the fps. But based on your monitor that would more than likely be all of the fps. When shit hits the fan your cpu might bottleneck you at the speed because bf4 updates seemed to have raaaaped the cpu usage. It's recommended specs should be reevaluated because of the updates.

Did you not already post a topic like this like 30 mins ago? Asking how many FPS a computer will get is like asking how fast can my car ago? Its dependent on a lot of other variables not just current hardware.

Medium to high? Are you bonkers?

That's about 80-100 fps on ultra preset in BF4 (1080p)

my 290x gets ard 100 fps on 1080p (ultra) and drops to 80 when there are tons of things going on

Your 970 should be around 90~fps during gameplay and might possibly drop to 70 when shit hits the fan.

Overall you'll probably never go below 60 so np!

All during multiplayer of course!

On medium to high? Dude, you can max out everything on Ultra.

Yeah seriously... If I can run the game on High, 1200p, no AA, with my 5870, he sure as hell can run it higher than that with a 970...

Though I hate how the game revert to extremely low FOV when you liberate a bell tower.. and no matter what doesn't come back up.. unless you enter/exit a vehicle or climb a ladder (some other things might work too) I feel so cross-eyed in the meantime, ugh...

No bottlenecks lol!

just in bf4 and crysis 3. I know this from experience because I recently moved to a 4790k and all stutter is 100% gone in those two games. Everything else the i5 will destroy. My friend with a stock clock 3570k stutters a lot in bf4 since the updates.

Depends if your drivers work.

I'm with 344.75, my 970 clocked at 1500Mhz is just sitting there at 50% Load in BF4, and I can't get more than 60FPS (is always dipping down to 40-50)

Rolling back to 344.11

My CPU is an i5 4570, I don't think there's a bottleneck

Yeah lol, I have a gtx 770 and it maxes things out. So a 970 definitely can. What are the people smoking in this thread
