Help with choosing 21x9 ultra widescreen monitors

Go to solution Solved by SeanBond,

I heard that the 25um64,which you have, has bad input lag. Do you notice it as being a problem in games?

No, not at all. I had the bigger one and now the smaller one and coming from a asus gaming monitor with 1ms grey to grey response time the difference really isn't there. I have to focus with all of my might to get a sense that there MIGHT be some input lag. And lag is something I am very sensitive to.

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a new monitor. I have a budget of 300$ so Ill probably have to go with a 25 inch monitor but thats okay. There are a lot of variations it seems of the different ultra wide monitors. So could someone tell me which one would be the best for gaming? (Mostly play battlefield 4) I'm just a bit confused with the "um's and ub's and the 64's and the 65's". Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also it would be nice to be under 300$ for buying something else. Thanks!

Show me some love baby cakes. And the difference is literally nothing. I had the monitor in the link for a bit then downsized to the 25um64 s same panel, with the difference of speaker size and brightness levels are lower but still really good on the smaller model

Agreed. LG or nothing.

The 34UM95 if you're looking for 3440x1440.

Specs are still exactly the same between those, from what I can tell the look of the panel is different. The bottom has a grey lining across the bottom instead of a full plain black one around the entire edge.

No problem, I found the 29" was too big for how close I sit up under my desk. I couldn't put it far back enough so I just got the smaller one so I can have it closer. The only difference would be weaker speakers (still amazing for a monitor) and brightness levels are little lower but still more than enough for sure. It's a wonderful buy. When you get it, go to flawlesswidescreen.org and get that app.
