ASUS Vivotab 8 As Steambox?

RubyRoks

This question basically boils down to "How well does the Intel Atom Z3745 perform at decoding H264?" I might be getting a Vivotab 8 for Christmas, so i was wanting to see what kinds of cool things i could do with it. It's likely going to be used more for emulators, school notes, and as a second screen, but it'd be nice if it could be a steambox like machine as well.

I have a WinBook TW801 which is very similar to VivoTab 8, and it does a pretty good job with Steam in home streaming. The Wifi on these Atom based tablets isn't that great(i'm meaning the bandwidth available), but the good thing is that you don't have to push a high resolution either, so it works out pretty good. The only thing that concerned me while streaming was the SoC heat, because my tabby was the hottest I have ever felt it, but it wasn't throttling either so I guess it wasn't too bad. I didn't experience too many dropped frames, but the ones that did drop weren't "game breaking" so you should be fine.
