Planning on buying this to hold me off till i can afford the 4690K

 

What do you think of the motherboard? I really don't know whats goods with intel motherboards

 

i am planning on overclocking.

Expensive mobo, nowadays expensive mobos don't give much performance. Pick one that has features you need and no flashy stuff imo.

That's pretty much as cheap as Z97 gets.

If you get the pentium anniversary edtion you can OC that thing to hel on Z97 and then it's almost as fast as an i5 great for budget builds.

Yes it's the right cpu and yes it's a z97

but there isn't a store near you, so the one you found is good.
