I have a $2000 Budget for my first PC

This is my list of parts I've picked out for my first PC and I would like to know what you would change on the build or what PC you would make in the budget of $2000 or Less. My mindset for this build is to be used for Gaming, Streaming, Video editing, Content Creation (CAD software and Adobe after effects). I want to play 60 FPS and up on 1080, 1440, and if possible in this price range 4k (I currently only have a 32" 1080p monitor for the PC).

PC part picker:

http://pcpartpicker.com/user/ThunderStormMC/saved/rjdMnQ

Things I really want on this build:

1. Geforce GTX 970 of some kind or better

2. Corsair Vengeance K70 RGB Wired Gaming Keyboard

Thanks for the Help!

I dont think you need 2133 mhz ram, i've always found it a little overkill. You can use the money you save, probably around $40, by switching to 1600 mhz ram elsewhere, like splurging on a better mobo  :D

right..any other 2tb drive will do and for a 2000$ budget you dont want ''highish'' settings at 45fps you want ultra settings at 60+ :)

I'd probably go for either of the following PSUs as their 80+ Gold certified which means their more power efficient:

• EVGA - http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-220g20750xr

• SeaSonic - http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seasonic-power-supply-ssr750rm

ON A 7 MONTH BREAK FROM THESE LTT FORUMS. WILL BE BACK ON NOVEMBER 5th.

they are both great units but the evga is superior and cost less...its made by superflower its a top notch psu.

WD Green or High performance blacks, or a seagate barracuda

I thought WD greens weren't good for gaming? Aren't they meant to be slower for longer life and reliability?

they are slightly slower and use less energy...its not ideal to load games indeed...a seagate barracuda is a better choice.

Well my mum's got the 550 Watt version of that SeaSonic PSU (it replaced a shonky Asian model PSU) and it's been running fine ever since she got it. I'm not denying that the EVGA is not significantly better, but the SeaSonic is not a bad unit either. Just saying. :)

They will have a bit slower load times, blacks are made for gaming and other demanding applications, they also have really good random read IOPS

i know i'm using an xfx xtr 550w which is the same as the seasonic gseries and its a very good unit...but the evga g2 is really as good as it gets and the fan on it wont spin unless theres a significant load on the system.

seems like getting two WD greens and setting them up in RAID 0 would be the best option then?

Ah, I see. Well EVGA do make great products, from motherboards to GPUs and power supplies, you certainly can't go wrong with any of their stuff. It's reliable, well built and with great customer service to add to all of that. Now if only more companies were like EVGA it would be great. :)

If it's raid then you want to get the WD Reds, They are pretty much greens but with custom firmware designed for RAID

So from the reply's I made this build with a different power supply, different GPU, different ram and different hard drive so what do you guys think?

http://pcpartpicker.com/user/ThunderStormMC/saved/svtNnQ

its a very nice system but the evga gtx970 acx2.0 has a cooler problem you can use google for some more infos on that but i would pick another gpu instead...other than that it looks good to me.
