2.1 Preamp/Receiver Help

You wont find one. Power amps only have raw wire connectors or banana plugs if they are fancy. However, you could always get adapter cables -> http://www.amazon.com/Rockford-Fosgate-RFI2SW-Speaker-Adapter/dp/B009B8EJYU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1417128779&sr=8-1&keywords=rca+to+bare+wire

Hey,

I'm looking for a 2.1 sound system preamp/receiver that outputs left, right, and bass RCA. I have looked all over for one, but cannot find one.

Suggestions are 100% welcome

Thanks

I thought so... There were a million audio and video recievers.

This subwoofer has an RCA connector. While I've successfully split a 3.5 mm jack into right and left, there is obviously no subwoofer line. What should I do? Some suggestions have said I could split the right or left line and use that for the subwoofer.

I currently have it set up as a 5.1 system, but there are no back left or back right.

How about you explain in detail every component you have, down to model number if possible.  I don't wanna have to explain every scenario if your problem is super easy to fix.  ;)

The sound card I have is a Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio sound card.

The speakers system is a Microlab H-200, product page here. I think it's a chinese company... Anyways, there is a manual that showcases what I'm working with. The "Pre-Amplifier" has broke and has been disposed of. The only things we have of the system now is the sub woofer (labeled HW-650), the left and right speakers, and the appropriate cords.

Currently, a 3.5mm to RCA L and R is running from the Sound Blaster's front left and right output to the sub woofer's L and R input. I also have a 3.5mm to RCA L and R running from the Sound Blaster's sub and front middle to the sub woofer's sub input. It isn't very elegant, especially considering it's running as if it were a 5.1 speaker system.

@ShearMe

I've gone ahead and got one of those adapter cables. I understand what you were saying.

OIC. Sorry for not responding to your previous post.

I'm not sure which channel of the center/sub output has a low pass on it - you'll have to test them to see which sounds better.

No problem, things get lost often.

I ended up moving the system to our living room. So I'm going to use the high level to rca adapter.

I honestly don't know if content would be lost if you ran the soundcard in 5.1 but only used a 2.1 system. My initial reaction would be yes as two of the speakers aren't there, but as I've said I don't know.
