No Maxwell yet, 4790K is a Haswell Refresh which is the same as Devils Canyon.

no they are both the same thing. The real name is Devils Canon but people sometimes refer to it as Haswell-E

Devil's canyon and haswell-E are 2 entirely different things.

Devil's canyon is the refresh series of CPU's (Among them being 4690k and 4790k) that are basically improved 4770k with better TIM

Haswell-E is the series of CPU's on the X99 platform based on the Haswell architecture. This is NOT devil's canyon.

And there is no such thing as Maxwell refresh

What are you talking about? i7 4790K Devil Canyon is Haswell refresh.

Maxwell is code name used by Nvidia for its GPU.

Canon makes cameras and printers.

what the difference with oem and box

OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer, people like Dell, so CPUs are shipped in a tray rather than a box and without coolers usually.

BOX = What consumers buy, which is what's on Amazon.

Both the same item just fulfilled by different sellers.

Just get the cheaper one with more reviews.
