[Discussion] How much you spent on your computer

thir02

Around 500 euros for the PC, the monitor is around 4-5 years old, brand new was 300 euros, periphreals were about 100 euros, and my soundsystem was about 1k euros.

Got my build down there :D

I usually do not count this (afraid of how many digits I ended up spending  :D ).

Short answer is .. a lot of money, comparing to how much average people are willing to pay for a PC (won't even talk about considering upgrades when it just works).

I usually prefer to invest on each component separately, until I can finish the build.

My computer... You mean that Pentium 4? ... Like 20-30€ on broken graphics cards, 5€ on a 80GB hard disk, 15€ for a mouse, and will soon put down 5€ for thermal paste.

And the thing itself was free. So approx. 50€

Laptop: Intel Core i5-4200H, 8GB RAM, 750GB HDD, GeForce 840M

Desktop: Intel Core i3-6100, 8GB RAM, 750GB HDD, GeForce GTX 750 Ti

$2300 on my current desktop about a year back, its never caused me any hassles and runs everything i throw at it on ultra but every time i see 970's and 980's i regret not holding off a little longer lol i think next year i will get another one and try to sell my current one although im not sure what it will be worth on the second hand market.

Probably $2000-$2500 for the computer and then another $1000-$1500 for the peripherals over time.  (us dollars)

I spent 1148.66$ on my computer (parts in sig), mid april 2014. Luckily, since I had my birthday in march, I only had to spend 18.40$ on it, the reat I got from my parents and others.

EDIT: Excluding monitors and peripherals.

1000?

SPOILED
