Airflow/fan mounts: Arc Midi R2

nice... what about radiator support?

Front 240mm (thick and slim, requires removal/repositioning of drive cages)

Top 240mm (Thick and slim)

Bottom 120mm

Rear 120mm

? The enthoo has much better flow/mounts.

thats a negative, the midi 2x 140 front airflow is not impeded like the pro.

the pro needs some modification to run 280 radiator up front and 25% of the

top fan is covered by the front panel. not the better of the two. i gotz both.

Hmm OK.

Doesnt the pro have more top and bottom mounts tho?

the roof has potential for 360/420 x 30 but most make that an exhaust and

creates a negative pressure scenario. can't use the bottom rad position with

a front radiator in place.

the midi can be modified to accept a 360x 60 in the roof with some vent holes

in the chassis (R5 will make the midi R3 roofline).

  • 2 weeks later...

The Enthoo Pro has triple 120 or 140 radiator support at the top and front (if you take out the drive bays and can live without optical drive bays and hard drives), double 120 or 140 at the front, and dual 120 or single 140 at the floor.

Airflow-wise, its still pretty good.

one thing to note. if you are a dust fanatic or lack service intervals to clean your

PC, the Pro is a very "loose" chassis and the filters used are very course (not

much filtering) even with a major positive case pressure and the stock filters

intact. the midi R2 has at least foam filter to reduce much small dust from

entering the case.
