Sell my HTC one M7 and buy a Nexus 5? Or deal with the slowness of the HTC and wait till next year?

Hey guys, this is my second HTC one M7. The other one's speakesr broke, and now my replacement is laggy, even in scrolling through youtube comments and playing subway surfers. It didn't lag on my first htc, but i don't feel like sending back for a third one. So should i deal with the lag, or try to sell it and buy a Nexus 5?

You won't sell it for much if it is that bad, I would send it back if I were you, and then sell that one if you must to buy the Nexus 5
