I want to contribute to the new office but is this site safe? i know linus wont do anything but they are hosting their sever on their own so just wondering if it is safe or not, because when i look at the left of the url it is a secure lock but it has a triangle warning sign and i usally avoid giving my credit card number to those sites, Sorry if i am being stupid i dont know much about internet security.

Payments are handled through PayPal and LMG are legitimate. Don't be worried.

If you don't mind the fact of giving your contact details, its safe. Payments are done via PayPal. You need to register your credit card to their service first. LMG only gets the contact details and your PayPal account name. Nothing more.

Don't worry, the site is safe. The reason the ! is there is because there are some images that are not loaded over an encrypted connection, but images don't affect the security of the site (as far is known at the moment) so you're safe. Payments are done through paypal anyway, so even if the forum was compromised, you'd still be fine.
