Red= used mainly for long term storage, nas.

green's= use low power.

blue= inexpensive, consumer orientated, the usually choice for many system builders.

black= performance orientated.

Here's a link to a WD blue 1 TB. It is slightly more expensive then what you wanted. http://www.amazon.com/WD-Blue-Desktop-Hard-Drive/dp/B0088PUEPK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1417059981&sr=8-1&keywords=wd+blue

Also, for all of them the warranty time is different.

red= 3-5 Years

green= 2 years

blue= 2 years

black=5 years.

Hi there thesalman569!

The drive you choose, really depends on the purpose of your build; is it for gaming, video editing, programing, internet browsing etc.?

Just like @NuroKnight so thoroughly explained, each drive has its own design and purpose.

But as I see your build and budget, I suppose the WD Blue would really do just fine for you. :)

Best of luck!
