Depends. The OnePlus One is good if you're on a GSM carrier or Sprint, the Nexus 5 is good on any carrier although has aged a bit and the iPhone 5S is a solid device as well (more expensive though).

The Galaxy S5 is a nice choice @ 500 dollars, The note 4 if you want a bigger screen is a steal at 700 dollars.

For reals though, you should tell us how much you can spend :)

I think a Oppo... Something. Let me google and ill get back to you

EDIT: Also, DONT Buy a One Plus One until they figure out their customer server. Its horrible and if you get a broken phone, youll be stuck with it.

the fire phone is like $200 off contract (GSM carriers only) if you use amazon a lot or want to root the phone you could try that.

Yes, but they're not incredibly difficult to obtain.

I never told you to buy one. There are plenty of people here on LTT who give them away every now and then, as there are on other tech forums. You also never mentioned a price, so saying it can't happen is only a product of your given information (or rather a lack thereof.)

Do they have sony on sale? I bought a Sony Xperia Z a year ago for around $380. The price is supposed drop greatly but it's a nice cellphone.

I'd keep it for at least another year.

The second generation Moto G would probably be your best bet. There may also be some regional based options depending on where you're located and what carrier you use.

You didn't specify what you do most on a phone, but...

I went from an iPhone 4 to a Moto G

Get the 1st gen if you want LTE

Get the 2nd if you want the larger screen
