Ipad Mini, Chromebook or Netbook

Hi Guys!

One of my first posts on here so go lightly ;p

I'm a student who is currently studying in a high school, I have a gaming PC which I use for my school work and gaming but I need a portable option for when I am not at home and I need to do a bit of work. I will obviously use it for a bit of recreational stuff, chromecasting and watching youtube etc. I can afford an Ipad but to be honest I prefer the formfactor of an Ipad Mini which I could get a keyboard for.

So, what would you pick?

 Ipad Mini, Chromebook or Netbook?

Edit: I have an Iphone 5 by the way

It depends on the ecosystem you're in. If you have an iPhone or Mac, get the iPad and complete your ecosystem. If you have an Android phone, get an Android tablet. Or, you can pick up a Dell Venue 8 and a keyboard case.

Definitely don't get a netbook, the hardware in them is absolute junk.

If all you want to do is browse the web and use Google Docs, then Chromebook

Otherwise, iPad mini 2. The original one has the A5 chip, which just can't run iOS 8 well.

The hp stream is a decent netbook for just $200. There are also options like the asus transformer t100 and using a dell venue 8 with a keyboard cover.
