I have a 3DS XL, and it's probably one of the best consoles I've used. It feels great in your hands (well, my hands anyways) and will last for quite a while (with 3D *off*). Plus it has a fantastic selection of games, especially if you're into JRPGs. If so, I HIGHLY recommend that you get Bravely Default. Such a good game!

Ive got a launch 3ds. A little small, but the 3ds does not have enough content to warrant getting an Xl.

Pokemon series is the only thing it has. Super smash felt like a shitty demo of the full game on wii u.

-shrug- A better library than the Vita. Unique IPs that isn't a landfill of generic pew pew. No le edgy 11/10 LOL xD titles like the junk that makes it through Steam greenlight. It depends on your tastes. If you're someone who enjoys bright colorful games over something trying a bit too hard to be realistic for the sake of pushing extreme graphics, Nintendo is for you. If not, don't even bother. You go Nintendo for those type of games. Pokemon > CoD and so on.
