Raid1 on PC or should I keep it in nas enclosure?

bydus

I'm building a mini gaming pc with node 304 case which can hold up to 6 drives. I figured that everything would be better accessible on the pc and therefore I wanted to move raid1 out of Synology to my pc case. I would then sell the nas case and get some money back. Now I was wondering if its safer to keep everything on Synology or it would be the same as keeping on pc. I have security suite installed at all times but I guess if there was some virus it would get to the nas drive anyway as i'm mapping the hard drive from it. I'm not worried about hard drive failure as I always have raid1 I had first hand experience with software that encrypted files on server and I wouldn't want this to happen on my home drive. In short - whats safer pc raid1 or network raid1 ?
