Hitachi 1TB Drive 2014 Mac Mini

Has anyone tried out the new 2014 Mac Mini? If so what did you think of the drive noise level? I know Hitachi drives tend to be a bit louder, but I was surprised at how loud this drive was.

I got one a few days after launch and to date I have not had an issue with drive noise, or rather, I haven't even heard any drive noise.

i wonder if you lucked out and got a segate drive. I am curious can you check your hard drive model under the system report? Did you go with the 500gb 1TB or the Fusion drive?

No, it's a Hitachi HDD as well, model HTS545050A7E362. It's a 500GB drive as I don't need the extra storage. What size/model is yours?
