How do I do a reinstall of windows on an ssd that has my os? It's my only drive right now

  1. Put in your Windows installation media (USB, DVD, whatever.)

Boot to it.

Custom install.

Delete all partitions.

Select the now entirely free space.

Install.

@Jade gave you the right steps to do that. Do have in mind that deleting all partitions would erase all information on that drive so in order to preserve any valuable data that you wish to keep, make a backup or transfer it on an external drive. Windows installer will delete, format and partition your SSD for you. You can either use the CD/DVD of your OS or create a bootable flash drive. @captain_WD Heh. Thanks for writing it up in more detail, I had literally just woken up when I posted that. On an offtopic note; I've got a WD Blue drive in my desktop. Thanks for spending your time here to help others, even if it is your job.
