Raptr-How to directly edit files

You probably are just missing the codec to be able to play the videos. Try downloading VLC media player or just plopping them into your video editor and see if it plays with those.

Hi guys, so I tried out raptr a while ago, because it was free. I thought it was okay, a bit glitchy at times, but manageable.

Anyways, I wanted to export one of my replays to edit it into a more professional (which is a hard adjective to use when talking about videos of video games) format. Unfortunately, all I could seem to do was upload direct to Youtube, and when I went into the directory files for raptr, and found the video files, they were just black with the sound, I assume a way for them to prevent you from using them without uploading directly.

I was wondering if I just made a mistake, or if anyone had any ideas about how to get the files directly for editing.

Thanks,

Mine went straight into WMM, which I then re-encoded into a usable format.

But thats not ideal, so I bought a LGP capture device.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

That might be why. My default is quick time, so I'll try with other stuff.

EDIT: That worked, thanks!
