I haven't seen a bad build by Austin to be hones. It looks good. I am not a fan of while cases and stock coolers but all can be changed.

Its pretty darn good, I wish he put overclockable cpu's in his builds but I think that that's done to make it a little easier for newer folks.

Oh yeah this is Austin's build!

I'd go with another overclockable i5/Z87 and also another case

I Know PSU is overkill but it's for running SLI in the future.

This. The SSD is a luxury upgrade, and I wouldn't sacrifice performance parts to get it. If you drop the SSD, you can get a K series CPU, Z chipset MoBo, and aftermarket cooler, and it's worth it in my book. An SSD will never help with benchmarks or in-game performance. It will make things "feel" quicker, but it's not offering any real performance, just that feel.

If you don't overclock, then no, there;s not really a difference between the two. If you do, then there's a significant difference. It's very easy these days and there are many guides. If you're willing to put all this together, overclocking should come naturally to you. For basic K series overclocking, there are really only two settings you have to change on the MoBo: Core voltage, and the CPU multiplier. Yes, if you get into it you can find other things to tweak and you'll have to change a bit more if you want to go super high, but for basic overclocking that should be sufficient. It's super easy. Have no fear!
