Just bought a G3 Any tips?

SSOB

So I'm basically kinda overwhelmed by the features ( Too many IMO..) But on the bright side, it gives me something to tweak :D. Are there any fellow G3 owners that can give me some tips for a techy like me ( And you of course.)

Get juice defender and nova launcher.

Root it. (And get a ROM if you don't like LG's software)

PLEASE QUOTE ME WHEN YOU REPLY TO MY POSTS, thank you.

Had my G3 for +3 months now. What version is yours? Mines is D850, which is the ATT version. Anyway, rooting is pretty much a must here if you want to really customize the phone to your liking.

Definitely would suggest rooting it.  If you like stock LG (and are rooted) I'd suggest G3 Tweakbox, which opens up a ton of options based around the LG launcher.

If you want to move away from LG, there are starting to be plenty of options of ROMs over on xda.  I'm running SlimKat on my D851, TMo.

Thanks for the suggestions. There seems to be something wrong with my battery ( CPU-Z Only shows 2610 mAh...) Is this just a wrong readout from CPU-Z or is this a real issue?

And It says it's Li-Poly while it is Li-Ion, also other apps give me the option to choose bethween 3KMAH and 2610. I'm pretty sure that its a bug.
