gtx 970 fan not spining?

hello  all i just got my  EVGA 04G-2974-KR GeForce GTX 970 Superclocked   about 1hour ago i put it into my pc but  when i boot up the fans spin for  a few sec or so then stop? is this normal?or is this due ot my psu?

i think is the new fa curb that evga implemented on the card

try stress testing it see if that ramp up the fans

Than you will have to blow in it to cool it :)
Just kidding :)

Check all contacts and if it doesn't spin after that than RMA it.

And as guy above asked whats your psu?

Atm i am using a 600 wat psu. and i pluged the 2x 6pins stil no luck

How big is your psu?

Damn , i only ask that after the 3rd date . 

 

Joke aside , do the fans ramp up if you start a game ? Monitor temps carefully and shut down if it passes 75 and still nothing

well i tryed to run a few games but i lose display? after about 5min

i got a msi gtx970 my fans are not moving at idle but when gaming they ramp up

I believe ASUS came with it first , then MSI and EVGA followed suit with idle until 67 degrees C
