Dye idea

I'm running a test now with an H55. If this works, then it's possible we could use it.

Pen ink would most likely clog up the pump

How? It's a rather thin fluid that doesn't stick to metals. It might cling to the tubing.

I'm not looking for premix. I'm experimenting to see what works in a loop for people who want color, but don't want to go out and buy food coloring.

I'm all for experimenting to see what works, but unless you're going to slice that H55 in half when you're done to see if there is staining, no one is going to pay attention to what you find.

I'll spend the money, take the advise of the professionals, and use tested and proven dyes and fluids.

Word, I mean that shit even clumps up on the tip of the pen LOL. Your pump would be dead.

It clumps because it dries out. Thoroughly mixed in water would prevent that.

Ehh dude I would not do it LOL. Just find a coolant with the color you want, or better use use distilled water and buy your preferred colored tubing.

This is for an AiO on the cheap. literally no more than $5.

I don't understand, if it's an AIO, why do you need to fill up an "all in one" with fluid? They are closed loop. Also honestly if you can't spend more than $5 on coolant you should probably just use distilled water. It's really the best.

It's DIY. I'm taking the thing apart, and i'm going to run some 3/4" tubing I have laying about through my room and use the thing as a cooler, or strap it to my GPU.

Ok, whatever you do just don't use pen ink ;) Good luck.
