First Mechanical Keyboard

I am looking to get a new keyboard to go with the new gaming machine I am building (http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/wHn4Jx). This keyboard is a much needed upgrade as my current keyboard is a rubber dome membrane and I split monster on it so a couple keys stick...

 

Here are a few things that I want in this keyboard:  

- Mechanical (I don't know which switch I want yet but I'm thinking brown since I am a student so ill be typing a lot, as well as gaming)

- Blue led back lit (I want the keyboard to match my new build)
- Media keys, this is very important to me, must have volume up, down, play, pause. (This is the only reason why I am not getting a ducky)
- Ideally doesn't have a number pad, however if I does then this isn't a big deal
- No more then $150 Canadian. 

 

Thanks for your guys help as I am pretty useless when I try to research keyboards since I know so little about them.

i would go for the corsair k95

Don't get the K95, get the K70 RGB (same price) instead. It might not have macro keys but every key on the keyboard can be used as a macro which negates the need for separate macro keys in the first place. Also the new RGB Corsair keyboards have ESD shielding to prevent LED death. As these are RGB keyboards then you can have the keys any colour or shade you like.
